Best Buy Donates $5,000

Darrell Monk, manager of the new Apple Valley Best Buy, pictured center, had some very kind words as well as a very generous check for the members of the Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation at Saturday’s grand opening.

Best Buy makes it a point to support local charities where their stores
are located, especially when opening a new store.  Darrell had actually engaged Don Ferrarese to help him with some real estate needs, and in the several months that Don and Darrell worked together, Darrell never knew of The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation.  It was not until Chris Connors, honorary Founding Member of director, had mentioned to Darrell that Don had a charity named in his honor, to recognize youth for their charitable work and dedication to the quality of life, that Darrell was inspired to consider The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation..  After looking into the charity, Darrell said he was very impressed by what the charity has been able to accomplish, and that all monies
donated to the charity, go 100% towards funding the scholarships.

Darrell expressed that Best Buy  advocates to their team members, the need to volunteer and give back to the communities.  Darrell said is fortunate to have a great team that is dedicated towards Best Buy’s charitable spirit..
