Scholarship offering policy
The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation offers ten (10) $4,000
scholarships annually, with one awarded to each of the participating
schools. As a privately funded charity, relying solely upon the
donations of the general public, our ability to extend the scholarships
to other schools at this time is very limited, as we are committed to
fund $40,000 annually with our current obligations.
We would, however, enjoy an opportunity to meet with any school to
discuss becoming a permanent member of the participating schools.
By cooberating our efforts, we can assist schools not currently in the
scholarship program, in raising the initial $10,000 that would allow the
Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation to perpetually award a
scholarship to that school.
Disclaimer & Terms of submittal
All scholarships, once submitted to Don Ferrarese Charitable
Foundation, become the sole property of The Don Ferrarese
Charitable Foundation, who shall have unilateral authority over the
use, distribution, publication or advertisement of any part of the
scholarship application, without any further permission required from
the applicant.
All recipients of the Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation Scholarship
will be required to attend the awards luncheon which will be held on
the first or second Saturday of June, 2009. To redeem your
scholarship, any recipient must attend. Not attending the awards
luncheon, which is of no cost to the recipient nor the recipients family,
will result in the forfeiture of the scholarship.
