to raise money for the high school Scholarship Fund.

Local Charity to Raffle New Car to fund Scholarships
September 3, 2007 Victorville, The High School Scholarship Fund issponsoring a Raffle for new 2007 Chevy Silverado- Tickets are $1.00 each.
Awarding one $4,000 scholarship to every High School in the High Desert, annually, The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation will fund $40,000 annually, in less than two years..
Scholarships are awarded to college bound students demonstrating charitable acts and volunteer work throughout their high school years.
A 2007 recipient, Jimmy Navarette, from Hesperia High School,
donated over 675 hours during his 4 years of high school.
Strictly a volunteer based Charity, The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation has no operating expenses- One Hundredpercent of all contributions go towards funding the annual scholarships-
The Foundation has purchased a brand new 2007 Chevy Silverado,
and will draw a winning ticket on December 23rd at Rancho Motors,
the official sponsor of the raffle.
For anyone purchasing 20 tickets, Don Ferrarese will offer them
a signed photo of Don pitching to Mickey Mantle. Anyone buying
50 tickets will receive an autographed photo of Don pitching to
Mantle and an autographed baseball.

The Foundation also offers a Volunteer
of the Month recognition program, offering a free dinner for two to
Outback Steakhouse to a randomly
selected volunteer. “We see a lot of
people doing some great things to
make our community a better place.
People who do these kinds acts with no expectation of anything in
return. We feel that by offering a little recognition, we may actually be
encouraging them to continue their kindness” offered founding member
Daniel Tate.
