Ferrarese Golf Tourney Raises Thousands for Scholarships

Apple Valley, Ca. Golfers from across the Victor Valley enjoyed an incredible sunny day at Apple Valley Golf Course, playing in the 2nd annual Ferrarese Scramble Golf Tournament.The Don Ferrarese Charitable awards ten (10) $4,000 scholarships annually, one to each of the ten public high schools, based solely upon the students’ volunteer and charitable service. This years applicants represented over thirty thousand hours of volunteer service. The first place team was the foursome of John Quimb, Jason Puckett, Juan Sanchez, Randy Bowen One shot behind, finishing in second place was the team from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and rounding it off in third place was the Greiner foursome with Dave Greiner, Mike Orme, Scott Theeringer , and Kirk Cassidy
