Scholarships for Victor Valley Students Doing Great Deeds
Victorville, CA. Awarding Nine $4,000 scholarships in 2008, The Don Ferrarese
Charitable Foundation is quickly becoming one of the largest privately funded Charities
in the High Desert. “In four years, forty, $4,000 scholarships will be awarded to Victor
Valley students, pursuing their college education”, says an enthusiastic Don Ferrarese.
The scholarships are awarded to students dedicated to improving the quality of life
through their volunteer activities and charitable contributions to the local communities.
The Charity was founded in 2005 with ten individuals contributing $10,000 each to
establish the endowment. Fundraising activities have raised an additional $50,000.00. |

Every year, a new student from each of the Victor Valley High Schools will be awarded a
$4,000 scholarship, to be utilized for college related expenses, including trade schools
and community colleges.
“Our future is strengthened by our memberships” Says Ferrarese. A tax deductible
$100.00 investment, entitles a family to an annual membership which is invested 100%
into the annual scholarships. “We are unique in that 100% of all contributions are
invested in the charity” We do not take any portion of these funds for operating
expenses”.
“In three years, there will be forty kids from the Victor Valley, receiving college
assistance from our charity, because they were kids who cared enough to give their time
and efforts to make the Victor Valley a better Place.” Kids, who understood that the
world can be made better one kind act at a time”, stated Ferrarese. We are now embarking upon our 2009 member ship drive. Our goal is to have 1,000
families invest $100.00 per year with an annual membership. An investment that echoes
their support for encouraging kids to look beyond their own selves and see that they can
make a positive difference in someone else’s life. Memberships can be secured by
