Tribute to our Veterans When Baseball went to War

The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation in conjunction with the National World War II Museum is sponsoring a Tribute to our Veterans on November 11th, in Apple Valley.  This great event will be at the Sunset Hills’ Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Sunset Chapel.  This exciting event will focus on professional baseball players who willingly placed their careers on hold or sacrificed them altogether to serve America in protecting our freedoms.
The moderator for the event, Mr. Todd Anton, a history teacher at Heritage School in Phelan, is an accomplished author and director for the National Museum.  Todd has sponsored many of these events and experienced a very successful turnout.
The event will be an ideal opportunity for our community and youth to hear first hand from our Veteran’s about their experiences serving America.
All proceeds will be donated entirely to The National World War II Museum and the Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation.  The Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation (www.don-frse.com) awards ten (10) $4,000 scholarships annually to high desert students based solely upon the charitable and volunteer efforts.
Tickets are for sale at $10 (free to Veterans) and like most past events, this will be a sell out.  We can deliver tickets to you personally or you can purchase them online at www.Don-Frse.com
